CITS conducts a variety of activities aimed at countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) and the evasion of sanctions related to WMDs.聽 CITS conducts events to increase the ability of corporate service providers (CSPs), customs agents, and licensing and regulatory officials to identify and prevent United Nations-sanctioned commercial activities.聽 The training events convey practical methods for identifying evasive activity based on existing legal authorities and organizational structures in the countries involved.
