Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Meghan Kaniewski is originally from Savannah, Georgia. In 2021, she graduated manga cum laude from the ¿ìè¶ÌÊÓÆµ, where she majored in Art History, minored in English, and completed the Museum Studies Certificate Program. During her time as an undergraduate student, she worked at both the Georgia Museum of Art and the UGA Brown Media Archives, sparking her interest in non-profit work and public service. She was the Director of the Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia at the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association for two years before coming back to Athens, Georgia. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Board Relations at the ¿ìè¶ÌÊÓÆµ Foundation where she works primarily with the Foundation’s Emeritus Trustees. Outside of work, Meghan has served on the Southeastern Museums Conference Program Committee and currently serves as a board member on the Friends of The Athens-Clarke County Library Board. As an MPA student, she is interested in learning more about public policy for non-profit organizations and nontraditional public servant roles.
