Nathan Jordan is a first-year doctoral student in the School of Public and International Affairs at the SPIA. His research interests are based in American politics, including state and local government, elections, public opinion, and legislative politics.

Nathan was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and raised in nearby Union Springs. In 2024, he graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery summa cum laude and with honors, as a first-gen college student. At AUM, he became interested in the social sciences and research as a vocation. He was bestowed two of the highest honors at AUM for his dedication to academic and extracurricular service: the Chancellor鈥檚 Scholar award and the opportunity to serve as a commencement marshal for the Fall 2024 semester. He is a doctoral student in political science at the 快猫短视频, focusing on American politics. His interests include retro computing, concerts, comedy, model collecting, world history, science fiction, and travel.
