Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Whitford is the Crenshaw Professor of Public Policy in the School of Public and International Affairs at the SPIA. His research centers on socio-technical systems.

Current projects include: the governance of complex data resources (e.g., security breach notification laws, tech transparency reports, DNA evidence); legal identity and tech (IAM); the diffusion of knowledge commons (public libraries in the Progressive era); and moral hazard, monitoring, and measurement in ancient and modern times.
