Senior Lecturer, Department of International Affairs
Dr. Gulcan Saglam is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of International Affairs at the 快猫短视频鈥檚 School of Public and International Affairs. She received her BA in International Relations from Ankara University (2007), her MA in Political Science from Georgia State University (2012), and her PhD in Political Science from Georgia State University (2017). She joined the 快猫短视频 faculty in 2019.
Dr. Saglam teaches courses on global issues, international relations, international migration, and political economy of development, including Honors sections. Her teaching emphasizes active learning, critical engagement, and real-world application of theory. She integrates simulations, debates, case-based learning, and structured reflection to cultivate analytical reasoning and global citizenship.
Her research lies at the intersection of international political economy and global migration. She also works on Middle East politics, with a particular focus on Turkish politics, representation, and migration governance.
