Adjunct Faculty, Department of Public Administration and Policy
Jason O鈥橰ouke is a part-time instructor in the MPA program where he teaches a course on Intergovernmental Relations and Management. He works full-time as the Government Relations Director for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (Atlanta Fed). In this role, he is responsible for carrying out the bank鈥檚 outreach and engagement efforts with Federal, State, and Local elected officials. Working within the Public Affairs Department at the Atlanta Fed, he helps communicate complex macroeconomic, community development, and payment system research to the broader public, elected officials, and staff.
Prior to joining the Atlanta Fed, Jason worked in the public affairs department at a large statewide trade association, contributing to a variety of areas related to policy analysis, survey research, and issue advocacy. He has further experience working on political campaigns in the Southeastern US, as a Legislative Assistant in the United States Congress staffing the Oversight Committee portfolio, and as a policy analyst for a small trade association where he focused on issues related to urban planning and development. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a Masters Degree in Public Administration, both from the SPIA. He has completed executive education programs through Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. He is also a graduate of the Atlanta Regional Commission Regional Leadership Institute.
