Bridget came to UGA in 1987, when the military transferred her husband back to Athens from Germany. The Political Science office was her first employer after living in Europe for 8 years. Dr. Bullock found it interesting that Griffin Bell (He served as the nation’s 72nd Attorney General during the Jimmy Carter administration) was related to Bridget’s husband: he is their family’s claim to fame. After three years in the main office, Bridget left to have her first child and returned 10 months later to work for Dr. Bullock. She has been working for him for over 30 years.
