Through its relationship with Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL), CITS assists the Department of Energy with nuclear regulatory issues as well as environmental and national security issues across the network of national laboratories.聽 CITS faculty and staff provide ongoing strategic analysis in the areas of regulatory and public engagement, nonproliferation and environmental management.聽 In addition, CITS partners with SRNL鈥檚 leadership on workforce development, providing internship and post-graduate employment opportunities for students.
